When you are in Rotary, you are part of a global organization that has more than 46,000 member clubs in nearly every country on Earth, comprising over 1.4 million members.

The organization, as one big global organization homed in Chicago, has more than 500 districts made up of individual Rotary clubs, Rotaract clubs for college students and Interact clubs for high school students who all strive to put service before self to make a difference in the world. Concord Rotary is a proud member club within Rotary District 5160.
Rotary International
Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.


Rotary District 5160
Rotary District 5160 is comprised of the 72 Rotary clubs located up the middle of Northern California, from San Ramon in the south, Davis in the east, Berkeley in the West to the Oregon border.
Concord Rotary Club
Concord Rotary was established on March 27, 1947, as Club No. 6560 on the roster of clubs participating in the worldwide organization of Rotary. It was during DG Willie Osburn’s term, under sponsorship of Walnut Creek Rotary, which relinquished part of its territory, that Concord Rotary began its colorful 75-year history.


Diablo Valley Rotaract Club
Rotaract is a service club of Rotary International of 18-30 year-olds, serving at the intersection between service and professionalism for young adults. With 10,680 Rotaract clubs and more than 203,000 members across 170 countries, Rotaractors engage in meaningful service initiatives worldwide and form an unparalleled network of influential, inspiring and compassionate leaders, as shown at right of members of Diablo Valley Rotaract Club at City of Concord’s tree and plant planting project with members of Concord Rotary Club.
Ygnacio Valley High Interact Club
Ygnacio Valley High Interact is a high-school level service club of Rotary International. Dedicated to community and global service, there are close to 40,000 Interact Clubs internationally. Ygnacio Valley High Interact meets every Monday during lunch at Ygnacio Valley High School, Room 212. New members are always welcome throughout the year!
